Chasing Dots
My favorite beads are Kazuri beads made in Kenya. While this may not be your typical Spring design, I had to introduce it. This necklace features Kazuri beads painted with Platinum, Hill Tribe Silver and Onyx chips. Not your typical every day wear, but will go great at the office with a suit or evening out. In the Winter it stands out proudly with a black turtleneck. Necklace measures 23", and closes with a Bali style hook clasp. One of a kind
Kazuri (small and beautiful) beads are handcrafted, Fair Trade, clay beads made in Kenya. Each bead is hand shaped, painted and polished by a skilled group of Kenyan women near the village of Nairobi. Because of the handcrafted nature of these beads, no two are alike. The purchase of Kazuri beads provide continued employment, health care and education for these women and their families.
